Ken is the founder and President of the Stripes Group‚ LLC ("SG"). He formed SG in January 2003. SG is a holding company that operates a private equity investment business and hedge funds business.
Prior to forming Stripes Group, Ken was a Managing Director with Internet Capital Group (NASDAQ: ICGE), which he co–founded in 1995. In his capacity as a Managing Director of ICG, he led many of ICG´s most successful investments, including Matchlogic‚ SMART Technologies and TradeX. Ken was founder and Chairman of ICG Asia, a Hong Kong listed joint venture with Hutchison–Whampoa and was responsible for recruiting many of ICG´s key executives and activating its fundraising efforts. Prior to forming ICG‚ Ken was the director of West Coast operations for Safeguard Scientifics‚ Inc. (NYSE: SFE)‚ a $2 billion public corporation, and TL Ventures‚ a venture capital partnership with an excess of $500MM under management.
Ken was named the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2000 and received the Golden Plate Award from the American Academy of Achievement‚ a non–profit organization dedicated to educating and inspiring young people. He led the formation of The Fox Challenge, a program to introduce entrepreneurship to students at his alma mater‚ The Pennsylvania State University. Ken also acts as Chairman of Smartwool and a Board Member of Azoogle and NetQuote.
As CEO, Brad Klaus oversees all business operations and ensures Syndero´s short–term and long–term financial growth and success.
Prior to leading Syndero, Brad served as Vice President of Sales and Business Development for Qualys, the leading network security provider of on–demand vulnerability management. During his tenure at Qualys, the company more than doubled its revenues. Prior to Qualys, Brad served as Vice President of Sales for DemandTec, a web–services company selling mission–critical, enterprise software services to the retail and consumer goods industries. Brad also spent six years at Siebel Systems, where he launched the Pacific Northwest sales division.
Brad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrative Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, both from the University of California, Berkeley. Brad also currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Electronic Retailing Association, the leading trade association for companies who use the power of direct response to sell goods and services to the public on television, online, and on radio.
Don Dixon co-founded Trident Capital and has been a Managing Director since 1993. From 1988 to 1993, Don was Co-President of Partech International, a venture capital firm associated with Banque Paribas.
From 1983 to 1988, Don was a Managing Director of Alex Brown & Sons. Earlier in his career, Don was a Vice President of Morgan Stanley & Co. and a Senior Account Officer at Citibank, N.A. Don's current directorships include Advanced Payment Solutions, Clarus Systems, KSR, Inc., Merchant e-Solutions, Qualys, Royalty Share, Inc., Syndero and Transware. Earlier, he served as a director of the following public companies: Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (ACS), BankAmerica Merchant Services, Inc. (BPI), BlueStar Solutions, CSG Systems International, Inc (CSGS), Epicor Software Corporation (EPIC), Evolving Systems, Inc. (EVOL), InfoUSA.com, Inc., a subsidiary of InfoUSA, Inc. (IUSA), Pegasus Solutions, Inc. (PEGS) and Unison Software, Inc. (UNSN). Don earned his BSE from Princeton University and his MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. Don is Co-Chairman of the Advisory Council of the Princeton University School of Engineering and Applied Sciences
Jim co–founded Turn in 2005, bringing his extensive experience in online advertising and search to create a next–generation online advertising network.
Jim was most recently named President of Overture Search, a division of Overture Services, Inc. Jim joined Overture via its acquisition of AltaVista Company, where he was President and CEO. In this role, he led the company´s highly successful turnaround and sale to Overture. Jim was also President of MyFamily.com, the parent company of Ancestry.com, and President and CEO of ThirdAge Media, which was acquired by MyFamily.com. Prior to that, Jim was President and CEO of Infogrammes North America, a leading global publisher of video games and entertainment software. For five years, he was also Chairman, President and CEO of Accolade Inc, Infogrammes´ predecessor company.
Jim has served on the boards of several public and private companies and is currently Chairman of SideStep, Inc., the leading travel search engine, on the board of ValueVision Media Inc. (NASDAQ: VVTV), on the advisory boards of Trusted ID and Cellfire, and on the management board of Stanford Graduate School of Business. Jim received a BS, MBA and J.D. from Stanford University.
David continues to act as a key component in Syndero´s financial development and success. He is responsible for building key relationships and long–term partners, for Syndero.
Prior to founding Syndero, David gained extensive expertise in online marketing at Adteractive Inc., a performance–based ad network. At Adteractive, David served as Director of Advertiser Sales, where he focused on developing Fortune 500 client campaigns. Before Adteractive, David served as Sales Director at Decru Inc., a storage–encryption appliance manufacturer acquired by Network Appliance for $262MM. At Decru, he focused on acquiring the company´s first customers and hiring the initial North American sales force. David started his sales career at Network Appliance in 1995. He was responsible for the sales development launch for the San Francisco/East Bay region. David earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside.
